Adding Attachments to Task
You can attach any kind of files to a task. To do so, do the following:
1. Select your task
2. Move to the "Attachments" tab.
3. Drag the desired file to anywhere in the tab's body.
4. A dialog will appear
- give a name and description to the attached file and press OK to confirm or
Cancel to abort.
When a file is attached to a task, a few things happen:
1. The file is compressed and copied to the shared folder defined in the
"system settings" form.
2. The file is stamped with an initial version "1.0"
3. The file is checked in to the files repository.
From now on, only the checked-in file is related to the task. Any updates made to the original file will not affect the attached file.

To do so, select it and click the "Check out" button. Checking out a file is allowed only if no one else checked it out before you.
If you allowed checking out a file, a pop up dialog will show, enabling you to put comments regarding your check out.
It is recommended to put meaningful comments but it’s optional.
Note: After you check out a file, every time you press the "View" button, the checked out version of the file will open for editing and not the last version in the server.
