Using Built-in Reports

InTask system version 1.0.0 comes with three fast built in reports in it:

            1. Current Tasks - displays all the currently shown tasks in a simple tabular report.

            2. Tasks Grouped by Subjects - Same currently shown tasks are grouped by their containing folders.
At the end of each group, there is a summary of the total records and total days in the group.
This report is great for estimating how many days every module and sub module will take to finish.
Note that the counting is not accumulative which means that each folder counts only tasks related
                directly to it.

            3. Release Content Report - show tasks from a specific version so you can easily know what has
been done. This report let you choose a filter from your pre-defined filters prior to generating the
report so you can get information not only regarding completed tasks but any other statuses as well.

            4. Users Tasks - Show tasks grouped by users and folders. This is helpful when you need to get
an overview of work done or need to be done by every one of your developers in every project.

To show a report click the "Home/Reports" ribbon button.

Creating Custom Reports

InTask allows creating custom reports based on existing report layout and filter.
The idea is very simple: choose one of the previously mentioned built-in reports for the layout, select projects and folders as data source of tasks to be shown and use one of existing filters to get only relevant task records. These elements compose a new report. Give it a name and save it to the system.
To create a new custom report, click the 'Create New' button in the reports dialog:

A report creation dialog will open

After selecting your new report layout, tasks data source and giving it a name, click the 'Create!' button to add the new report to the system.
From now on, your report will show in the reports dialog under the 'Custom Reports' group.
